More Universities have toed the path of
some others who have already shunned the ongoing industrial action by
Academic Staff Union of Universities.
Information reaching Us shows that the management of Niger Delta University, Amassoma Bayelsa state has directed all academic staff to resume today.

Friday, January 31, 2014 – Lectures end for stale students
Monday, February 3, 2014 – 2nd semester examinations begin
Friday, February 21, 2014 – Examinations end
Saturday, February 22 – Saturday, March 8, 2014 – Vacation
Monday, March 3, 2014 – Fresh students resume/start registration
Monday, March 10 – Friday, March 14, 2014 – Orientation of fresh students
Sunday, March 9, 2014 – Stale students return to campus
Also, an unconfirmed report has it that
the Olabisi Onabanjo University, OOU Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State has announced
that it will abide by the Federal Government Instruction that all
striking lecturers of public universities in the country should return
to the classrooms on or before 9/12/13.
