ICC Judges Issue Arrest Warrant For Putin Over Ukraine

The International Criminal Court on Friday announced it had issued an arrest warrant against Russian President Vladimir Putin for the "unlawful deportation" of Ukrainian children.

The Hague-based ICC said it had also issued a warrant against Maria Lvova-Belova, Russia's presidential commissioner for children's rights, on similar charges.

ICC said in a statement, "Today, pre-Trial Chamber II of the International Criminal Court issued warrants of arrest for two individuals in the context of the situation in Ukraine: Mr Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin and Ms Maria Alekseyevna Lvova-Belova,"

Putin "is allegedly responsible for the war crime of unlawful deportation of population (children) and that of unlawful transfer of population (children) from occupied areas of Ukraine to the Russian Federation."

The ICC said the crimes dated from February 24, 2022, when Russia invaded Ukraine.

"There are reasonable grounds to believe that Putin bears individual criminal responsibility for the aforementioned crimes," it said.

Putin was allegedly responsible both directly by committing the acts and for "failure to exercise control properly over civilian and military subordinates who committed the acts, or allowed for their commission."

The arrest warrants are being kept secret to protect victims and witnesses, it said.

The governorship candidate of the Labour Party in Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, on Thursday, disclosed that his ambition to occupy the state governorship seat is not backed by any godfather.

The LP candidate is reacting to a claim by the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, that he was being endorsed by godfathers such as the PDP chieftain, Chief Bode George.

Jandor was quoted to have said on Tuesday that Rhodes-Vivour was being endorsed by godfathers such as the PDP chieftain, Chief Bode George.

“I fought against godfatherism in the APC, Lagos. My refusal in recognising (Chief) Bode George as a godfather in the PDP is a major reason for his endorsement of Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of LP against my candidature in the PDP,” Jandor said.

The Monsters That Live Among Men(NL)

'NL' in full means 'Leaders of Nigeria', Nigeria Since her independence(1960), 80% of her governance has been flooded by a group of Irresponsible and Inhuman politicians. who under the umbrella of politics,  has done more harm to this great nation than they have done good. A nation with all her Natural resources cannot boast of better life for her citizens, a nation capable of becoming world power, judging from its wealth of natural endowment, has been drastically reduces to nothing, thanks to a group of leaders who are insensitive to the basic needs of her(Nigerian) people. No Electricity, no pipe-borne water, Low infrastructural facilities, and high rate of insecurity among others.

Since her Independence Infrastructural crime has been on constant increase, she has been Labelled as a High risk nation by global perspective, because of  high rate of different categories of corruptions. As a result, Tourism is practically Non-functional, diseases are on the increase, The total economy of this highly endowed nation is constantly experiencing great inflation, The citizens live in a vicious cycle; where the rich gets richer and the poor gets poorer. This has lingered on for Decades, her politics has known nothing better  than selfishness, corruption and gross marginalization of the silent majority, by the vocal minority. The silent majority are more of poor background, of whom the weight of huge atrocities committed by the vocal minority, is placed on their head.

The rule of law has been laid down only for the  silent majority. When a leader commits a punishable offense , he/she is left to go free, but when one of these silent majority commits an offense, the hell is let loose.Oh! what a nation, highly blessed, perfect location, huge natural endowment., yet 89% or more of her citizens are poor; living on less than $2 per-day, but their so-called leaders have fat accounts littered in different banks in different parts of the world. Why this selfishness? Why this man-inhumanity-to-man? . Why this gross evil by the leaders, to a nation and her citizens?

The people of this great nation, more than any other nation  on earth, has great ability to instill patience and tolerance, hoping that one day, victory and normalcy will come. But when will this victory come?, when will this change come?.

From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and the violent take it by force. Is it going to be the same with Nigeria?

God Bless Nigeria.

A-Z of Mourinho Affliction on others in Footballing world

- See more at: http://www.helperblogger.com/2012/04/add-twitter-tweet-button-just-below-of.html#sthash.TNN1HHYW.dpuf
By Ben Hayward | Spanish Football Writer

Jose Mourinho hit the headlines again on Friday with an outburst aimed at Arsene Wenger, who the Chelsea boss claimed to be a serial loser. It was the latest incident in a spiky rivalry between the pair dating back nearly a decade, but the Frenchman is by no means the only victim of the Portuguese coach's acid tongue.

From Porto to Inter to Madrid, the outspoken 51-year-old has a long history of colourful feuds, with his tenure in Spain notably ending with a divided dressing room and mixed feelings about his reign at the Santiago Bernabeu.

With all of that in mind, Goal looks back at some of the major confrontations throughout Mourinho's top-level coaching career, an A to Z of his greatest controversies over the last decade ...

A is for ambulances: When Petr Cech suffered a severe head injury after clattering into another player at Reading, Mourinho pointed the finger at the ambulance service and claimed that their slow reaction could have proved fatal for his goalkeeper. "Thirty minutes in the dressing room, waiting for an ambulance ... If my goalkeeper dies in that dressing room, it is something English football has to think about," the Portuguese raged. The reality, however, was rather different: the ambulance arrived after seven minutes and within 19, Cech was already in hospital.

B is for Benitez: Mourinho and Rafa Benitez have never seen eye to eye and their rivalry was not restricted only to the pitch during the Portuguese's time at Chelsea and the Spaniard's spell at Liverpool, when the Reds beat the Blues in two Champions League semi-finals. Later, Benitez replaced Mourinho at Inter and the Portuguese poured scorn on his rival's triumph in the Club World Cup as he took the credit for the trophy. "I thought he was going to thank me for the title I gave him," Mourinho said. "Inter fans would tell you how they really feel about it."

C is for the Camp Nou car park: Furious at several decisions by referee Jose Antonio Teixeira Vitienes in Madrid's Copa del Rey quarter-final second-leg clash at Camp Nou in January 2012, Mourinho waited for the official in the car park following his side's elimination and directed abuse at the Cantabrian. "Now you will go and have a cigar and you will laugh, artist!" he is reported to have told the official. The Portuguese had earlier appealed for three penalties, believed Lionel Messi should have been dismissed for a second bookable offence and was unhappy at Sergio Ramos' red card. In the press room he said: "I won't speak about the referee, but what I have heard in the dressing room is that it is impossible to win here."

THE SPANISH ONE - BENITEZ
D is for Dani Alves: When Barca's Dani Alves claimed Mourinho had not invented football, the Portuguese sarcastically compared the defender to Albert Einstein and reminded the Brazilian that "it was a Portuguese" who discovered his country. Mourinho also accused Alves of simulation to get Pepe sent off in the Champions League semi-final against Barca in 2011 and can clearly be seen shouting obscenities to the Brazilian in another Clasico clash.

E is for EPL:
Mourinho met Arsenal's Ashley Cole without permission to discuss a transfer to Chelsea and, following an inquiry, the English Premier League fined the Portuguese €245,000 for tapping up the player. The punishment was later reduced to €92,000.

Nick encouraged Wendy to embrace the “naturism,” or nudist, lifestyle six years ago.

“It was one of the first things he said to me: ‘I’m a naturist, how do you feel about it?’ I knew at some point I’d have to at least try it,” Wendy said.

The 58-year-old woman was hospitalised after she developed severe abdominal swelling due to excessive eating and drinking, state-run China News Service reported.

During the operation, fire broke out when the gas burst out of her abdomen.

The surgeons had to remove her entire stomach, the report quoted Wang Hao, a doctor at the Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital in Jiangsu province as saying.

Wang said the incident occurred when the ethyl alcohol in the patient’s stomach came in contact with the electric surgical knife.

“Normally, people will stop eating when they feel full. However, drinking alcohol during a rich meal can make people ignore their body’s signals, and they eat too much,” he said.

Chinese celebrated their week-long New Year also known as the Spring Festival this week during which people eat and drink heavily at the family get-togethers.

The chaos in the Central African Republic has continued to rage on as new footage of a man being lynched has been released.

The man was dragged through the streets nearly naked by soldiers while residents of the area filmed and photographed the scene.

The victim was believed to be part of a group of Muslim Rebels, named Seleka, which had been recently ousted after seizing power in March 2013.

According to Daily Mail reports, about 20 uniformed soldiers accused a member of the crowd of having belonged to Seleka – the mostly Muslim rebel group that seized power in a coup last March, before stabbing him repeatedly until he was dead.

A soldier stamped on the lifeless body, which was then dragged nearly naked through the streets as residents looked on and took photographs.

Ten minutes earlier the new interim president, Catherine Samba-Panza, stood just 20m away where she addressed a crowd of at least 1,000 soldiers. The Army effectively disappeared during nine months of Seleka rule.

Some individuals, Saturday Sun gathered, had approached WAEC through letters seeking restitution after they had confessed how they dubiously acquired their certificates when they wrote the examinations at various periods.
The council wrote back to them, stating that what
